This event will not be an open day and we have had 60 players on site on occasion and manage it easily, I am trying to get some more of my boys to play and get into ww2.
I am also planning other big games for the site in 2009 but for modern airsoft player's, the weather is a big factor in numbers for modern players not like you ww2 guys :)

Playing severely curtailed thanks to the greed of bankers and two kids in higher education this year  so can't commit to anything beyond four CiA games, much as I'd like to return to N Wales.

Its amazing how things can be misread, when its quite obviously not to be taken seriously. In addition, even if I was, it would only relate to Modern airsofters.

I believe if you were to look back at the game threads I always planned to leave after the first day and made this very clear. I was in a Clay Pidgeon Shooting comp, came 4th out of 30. So yes I did piss off early, but had decided to despite the f**kin awful weather and trudging round without a single complaint about the weather for about 6 hours.

ANYWAY! Just don't think that comment was called for, for a post that was obviously not meant to be taken seriously...especially on a WW2 forum. Not going to say nything else on the subject.

LOL, your ducking at Autumn Mist redeemed you Spiers - plunged into freezing water and continued to play in head to toe soaking wet clothes all afternoon. I'd say you earned your stripes!

I didn't think anybody noticed! Didn't bother me in the slightest, as it didn't bother me in the slightest at CR we I was equally piss wet through.

Though to be fair I didn't return to play immediately...I had to go ring my socks out
